Zero Room & Breakfast

Guesthouse in Palermo in the Stazione Centrale

Our Zero Room & Breakfast facility is located on the second floor of a building from 1910 and precisely in Via Paolo Balsamo, 22. We are located approximately 150 meters from the entrance to the central train station of Palermo and a few meters from the terminus of the TRAM line . The "Prestia e Comandè" bus that operates the airport/Palermo Central Station route is approximately 200 meters away. Our accommodation facility has a total of 3 double bedrooms, two of which have a private bathroom in the room and one with a private bathroom located outside the room. All rooms have a shower with chromotherapy, hairdryer, toilet and bidet or toilet only. In the room you will find a desk or writing desk, 32-inch LED TV, a wardrobe, safe, a minibar and a balcony. All rooms have a heat pump for heating and cooling the room. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property with fiber optics. Breakfast is served in a common area adjacent to the rooms and is both served and buffet style. In our facility it is possible to carry out automatic check-in to be able to enter at any time of the day after registering the documents which are generally requested before arriving at the facility via WhatsApp or email. Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and throughout the entire facility. We are located near the markets of Ballarò, Vucciria and Capo. At check-out it is possible to leave your luggage in the structure without any additional charge and collect it independently according to your needs.

Our breakfast

Breakfast in our Zero Room & Breakfast facility is served from 8:00 to 9:30 but on request it is also possible to have it in your room without supplement. A predominantly Italian buffet with cereals, jams, cappuccino, coffee and fresh croissants. For international guests we provide cold cuts, eggs, fresh bread and toast. Furthermore there is always fresh seasonal fruit and typical Sicilian desserts. Upon request we can serve alternative dishes based on the period and duration of the stay. Gluten-free breakfast is also available on request.

I am Francesco Fiorito and I am the owner of the Zero Room & Breakfast guest house in Palermo. I was one of the first bed and breakfast managers in Palermo and for this reason I believe that the experience acquired over these years has been fundamental in offering an increasingly high level of service to my customers. I am a lover of travel, music and design. I like to always keep everything in order and I pay particular attention to cleanliness. I don't smoke and I don't drink alcohol. I have a diploma in agriculture and I love plants. I like to talk to my guests to have a chat or to plan excursions. I speak French and English even if in a purely scholastic way. I have two other accommodation facilities in Palermo called: White Room Breakfast and White which are also located at the central station of Palermo. I also have an accommodation facility in Monreale called Palazzo al Carmine. I worked as a deejay for several years in tourist villages and this contributed a lot to my professional training. I am always careful to make the environments and living rooms of my clients live up to expectations, which is why I collaborate with my colleagues Simona, Barbara, Nadia and Francesca who actively contribute to all this.

Area Stazione Centrale

The Zero Room & Breakfast is located in Via Paolo Balsamo 22, opposite the terminus of TRAM line 1 and a few meters from Palermo's central train station. From our structure you can reach the three most famous markets in Palermo on foot in a few minutes: Ballarò, Capo and Vucciria. We are practically in the central area of Palermo and in a few minutes on foot you can reach the most famous monuments such as Palazzo dei Normanni, Teatro Massimo, The Cathedral, Teatro Politeama, Piazza Pretoria, etc. We are outside the ZTL area of Palermo and for this reason you can arrive by car or motorbike without problems. The area is quite quiet. You can park your car or motorbike in via Rosario Gregorio or in the surrounding streets and there are no blue lines. About 200 meters from the Zero Room & Breakfast there is the "Prestia e Comandè" BUS stop which provides the transfer service from the Central Station to Palermo Falcone & Borsellino Airport and vice versa. We are located a few minutes walk from the Botanical Garden of Palermo and the seafront that leads to the main port of Palermo and the trapezoidal pier of the Marina Yachting, a space of approximately 26,000 square meters where inside there are restaurants, an amphitheater, an artificial lake with illuminated fountains and various shops where you can spend time. The TRAM line 1 which is practically in front of our structure runs the route to the FORUM shopping center where there are shops and cinemas.
